Bethesda construction update: Solaire Bethesda luxury apartments (Photos)

Check out how the Solaire Bethesda is fitting in with close neighbor Crescent Plaza like a chameleon. The color of some of the facades that face that building are now a shade closer to that of Crescent Plaza since my last update.

Considering that the Solaire's shape and proximity give the sense that the new building is "eating" the existing one, this a thoughtful touch to at least create a harmonious relationship between the two. I think they've done a nice job.

With 139 apartments and True Food Kitchen as its ground floor retail space anchor, the Solaire Bethesda is scheduled for delivery this fall. The developer is Washington Property Company.

When you report on the Harris Teeter opening, can you also cover how the parking will work? At Park Potomac, there's a separate part of the garage just for HT customers for example.

Such a nasty setup that will affect these two properties and values for a long time to come.

6:35AM Who told you how to park at Park Potomac HT? Why don't you ask them? Because we certainly can't shop there if we don't know in advance how the parking garage is set up.

@6:35 do you need someone to tell you how to wipe your butt too?

I believe there is a separate entrance for HT. HT entrance on Battery. Flats entrance on Woodmont.

That's not nice, 7:49. Unreasonable, too. It's akin to Dyer posting new signs and miscellaneous. People like to know and Dyer provides these little tidbits and we like it.
